4k executable graphics are tiny executables (under 4 kilobytes) that takes a few seconds to compute ONE image.
This pushes you to find procedural ways of creating geometries and textures, you can also do heavy lighting as you have several seconds (usually 30s max) to compute it.
Using a combination of shaders, c++ and clever compression, you can manage to make really beautiful things.
